One cat that I had growing up, completely destroyed the deer mouse population when my parents moved my sisters and I to a old farm house standing. We had a new wood deck made put of maple boards and that cat killed so many he stained the wood from their blood. We had a snow shovel on the deck because he would leave them by the door. He also killed countless birds and chipmucks,full size cotton tails. We almost lost him though there was a coyote that pinned him up on that same deck. We need to get our African cat ladies out there with bowls and cat food so that when she doesn’t feel up to 20 mile treks, mother and kitten can just relax and enjoy a good meal together.

When it leapt straight up in the air and got the bird I was all like we’ve had cats for years and I’ve seen them get birds before but this was a trapeze act. This is actually the world’s deadliest cat. Perfected the art of camouflage. Catching unsuspecting humans unawares at all hours of the day or night, stealthily changing positions and location on stairs. That got me at first. I thought they meant by more dangerous than any other cat, which I disagree, but it was the percentage that gave this cat the nickname. My sisters cat, who has now passed, would catch seagulls and carry them over the fence into our yard. He would always be very pleased with himself. I’m curious what the success rate of outdoor pet cats is. Pet cats are responsible for killing billions of birds and such every year. Surely their success rate is fairly high with those numbers. I once saw a house hold cat, catching a bird in mid air and hide the Mericat Ameowica Shirt when I came and search for it. It was gone, completely.
